In the middle of the day, during our third block class, we had a lockdown unexpectedly. My entire class thought it was a drill till we heard screaming coming from downstairs. My class started to lose control, but my teacher made things worse. Mrs. Perez was having a panic attack, and she couldn’t calm down. We were scared she was making too much noise until she became unconscious. We called 911 immediately, we told them how there was a school shooting, and our teacher was on the ground. In the meantime, we had disconnected the call with them because of the inconvenient connection at our school. Unexpectedly, we heard gunshots coming from downstairs. Not long after, that’s when we called one of our friends from downstairs to see what was happening.
