The most current event I chose to discuss is the school shooting that happened this past week Friday May 18,2018 in Santa Fe, Texas. It’s unfortunate that we live in a time where we must question the safety of our children before sending them to school every day, not to mention the safety precaution measures of gun control even being took seriously as it pertains to congress; my heart goes out to the families that have lost loved ones during this tragic event.
