Moral Teaching Should Be Taught In Public Schools Essay

When it comes to teaching in a class room staying away from moral teaching is something that as a child going to school noticed teachers try to stay away from it. The reason teachers try to stay away from this is because a lot of times when you’re talking about morals and right from wrong religion is brought into the subject and teaching religion is not something allowed in public schools. When it comes to morals people get offensive sometimes about what is being taught to their sons/daughters. When situation come to be about, things happen and someone ends up telling a kid that they cannot do that and the parent usually will take the side of their kid well because it’s their child. I do feel that it is the right thing that needs to be done. If the parents are not doing this at home then at school where we have these teachers that are teaching need to be allowed to do so in a non religious way. In comparing both the interview and the article I understand that there are different sides when talking about what needs to be done in school and what is actually being done in them. Both sides agree that morals need to be taught inside the school walls because honestly we do not know if the parents are who supposed to be teaching them this are actually teaching them this at all. But even though the schools are trying to do this in school walls I fear that it is still not being done for reasons that have been said before.
