School Psychologist

For some it maybe easy to answer the question “what would I would like to be doing for the rest of my life?”. But for myself, it actually requires me do in depth research in order to find what interests me and best suits me. The field that best defines who I am, is in the field of School Psychologist, because I would like to help students solves the mysteries why they are having trouble learning. Since I have trouble learning and staying on track I would like to help children in the future with this problem also. Also what i would like about this job is having the summers off and if i were to be just a psychologist i wouldn’t have summers off and i would like to work with children School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students ability to learn and teachers. You need four-seven years of school. You should gain experience in a school psychology-related area. By volunteering or working with school-aged children this may give students valuable outlook to the development and education work of school psychologists. Then you complete an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) or Master's Degree Program in School Psychology, students who want to eventually complete a doctoral degree may want to pursue additional opportunities for conducting independent research. After that Attain NASP Certification, The Nationally Certified School Psychologist ( NCSP )is a voluntary certification, but many states require it or accept it in place of other licensure
