Introduction
Part time work and college students can have an impact on time management and studies for assessments at the college. Lucas and Lammont (1998) stated that “under the age of 25 in full-time education and employment rose from 23% to 37%”. However when it comes to hours spent studying, 12 out of 25 males spend 1 to 3 hours studying at home compared to females which majority spend 4 to 6 hours spent studying, however and equal amount of them also spend 1 to 3 hours studying.

When the students were asked about extra-curricular activities 17 out of 25 males participated in extra-curricular activities were as the same amount of females stated they do not partake in any extra-curricular activities. However this kept the priority of students still mainly on college but the attendance of males was significantly lower than females when asked if they have attended every class.

Females response when being asked what they stress/worry about stated that assignments and assessments was their highest concern with more than half agreeing with this also followed by study, work and other issues.
