Learning morals that are used in everyday life such as promptness, obeying rules, cooperation and getting along with your peers as well as having responsibility are all significant aspects of schooling. It is also referred to as a pedagogical learning theory. As I was out in the field last year, I had the opportunity to go to three different schools and observe. The first classroom I went into was a third grade class. This class was very well behaved with minimal troubles. It was a structured, comfortable environment for students to learn in. I believe having a safe, comfortable environment for a child to learn in is one of the key factors of education. The students are able to work without having the stress or worry of other problems. One thing I observed from this classroom was how the teacher started the day off by asking each child one on one how they are doing and what they need help on in class. I found this interesting and different than any other class I observed in. By talking to each child helps the teacher and student grow a bond. It lets the student know they can trust you as an individual and make teaching a little easier for you because you are able to see which way of teaching can help them the best. After my placement with the third grade class I remember thinking to myself how excited I am to pursue my education in teaching. The other two placement I had were in daycares. The children were from the ages 4-6. One daycare was a head-start program. I enjoyed the head-start daycare because the children were respectful to instructor and followed the rules. Also the instructors of class were caring and really helped the children whether it was a problem concerning their education or one with their home life. They would do this by showing the children they appreciated them and the work they did in the room. Unlike the head-start program, the other daycare I observed was not so well structured. The kids were running around and not listening to the instructors at all. The instructors would ignore a child if they asked too difficult of a question and would move

Upon entering the class, I quickly noticed all the children curiously turn to look who I was while they were having large group time for half an hour. During that time, they sang songs, had calendar time and the teacher did an overview of the day. I was very impressed at how cooperative they were for her.…
