In the United States there have been many cases, several which date back to 1969, regarding school dress codes controversial enough to make it to the supreme court. Those cases in particular regarded many different issues, such as dress code regulations forbidding religious attire and or accessories. Today, in the U.S and many other countries, certain policies have riled up young students around the world due to sexist school dress codes and the way in which they are enforced. There is currently no record of any of these cases being deemed important enough to make it to the supreme court, which is why I am here today. Society does not seem to believe these discriminatory, based on sex, dress code rules are actually sexist or they are unaware
