School Day In Middle School

Decent Essays
It was a regular school day I was in my 2nd year of middle school and the year had already begun. I was still shy and awkward around people that I couldn't hold a conversation for a long period of time. So it would cause an awkward silence and for them to go talk to someone else. My extreme shyness caused me to not really talk or interact with people and left me alone. I didn't really mind since I was used to this it's been happening since I started school.

The worst part was I didn't even know one person, I was the “new kid”. I ended up going to a school called Liberty Elementary School, it was a new school that was being built in the area. Many people from the other schools went there, including me. Some people had best friends who moved with them so they weren't alone, but I was. At lunch, I was silent, no words, just sat there staring off in the distance.…

In my opinion, school startings will continue to be a serious problem unless you make middle schools start later. Teenagers tend to have troubles falling asleep at the time there supposed to. They have phones witch tend to make them stay up all night. Teenagers chat with their friends or even watch something on their phone. When teens tend not to get eight to ten hours of sleep it could create huge problems.…

See i had just moved to the new school district area sure I knew some faces but, not enough to make me feel comfortable enough to talk in front of others. I don't remember why I had become the shy type all of the sudden when i spend middle school as a social butterfly but, earth to jenna we weren't in middle school anymore we we're rolling with the big dogs now on the path to college. See not only was i shy but i was also extremely self conscious at the fact that although i was technically i high school student my height and voice were still in the hallways of middle school. I thought this was normally though; the shyness that is not the height we know for a fact my height was not normal, but then day without talking to anyone turned into weeks and before i'd known it it became two months into the school year and no one has ever heard my voice and they probably don't even know my name.…

Lastly, recess helps develop skills, that middle schoolers and every person on this planet will need later on in life. Some of the skills learned are, how to communicate face-to-face with otherss, how to work with others, how to fix problems, to get along with others without an adult getting into the way, and how to be patient with others. Recess helps students to be able to think on their own. In students' lives students can do that, children can choose what game everyone wants to play and who they want to hang out with. High School and Middle School Days Should Start Later Should middle school and high school days start later in the day? In my opinion, I don't think it should. The school day should not change their time later in the day. There may be really good pros to the idea, but there are also plenty of cons for delaying the school start times. These cons can affect both students and the teachers.…

Adolescence can be a very turbulent, trying time of the human lifespan. It is commonly recognized as the developmental period between the ages of 10 and 15, and is where peak growth—both physical and mental—takes place. When it comes to physical development, no two adolescents are the same. Girls tend to hit “growth spurts” before boys their ages do, and thus can be taller than their male counterparts for a time. At the same time, boys’ voices are starting to change to become deeper, and they can have intense growing pains as their growth plates are in action, causing them to grow taller as well.…
