Which is good they want students to feel safe and feel comfortable at a good environment coming everyday. But bullies and harassers always find a way to get someone and make their life miserable. That 's why schools always have to change their code of conducts to set things right and to warn others what they should expect if they ever will do something. Now school of conduct may be a little different just because it takes place at school. But both students and faculty follow the same same set of rules and responsibilities. School administrators and faculty are set to be good role models for students and to make sure they meet a certain goal. A school code of conduct has the same meaning just like from the others, but in this case schools have so much regulation that goes for students and faculty such as. Students do have their own rights as well they do have the right to know how their progress of work comes along. Privacy is another, any of the student’s possession is to be off limits unless otherwise the school decision. A code of conduct lays out the rights that students have, making sure that students will be punished or rewarded equally and that nobody will be singled out and that everyone will be treated accordingly. A real story in which the code of conduct came into play was the story of Megan Meir. Megan was thirteen when a sixteen year old boy named josh sent her a friend request. Josh told Megan that he was home schooled and did not have a cell phone, and so Megan never got to hear his voice or see him in person. For a girl who had ADD and dealt with depression and weight problems, this was finally a chance for her to feel normal. She had talked about committing suicide when she was in the third grade, and ever since then had been seeing a therapist. Megan talked to josh online for several months, and had been happier than ever. On a Sunday in October 2006, Josh sent Megan a message saying that he didn 't want to be friends anymore and that she wasn 't a nice person.
