Considering all the dangers on the internet, there can be many solutions to preventing acts of danger. In Hinduja’s article, it talks about the different ways someone can prevent cyberbullying. Within this article, it states: “Some suggest that the only way to prevent cyberbullying and some of the other negatives associated with adolescent internet use is to forbid kids from going online” (Hinduja). This quote is later answered in the article by saying that children will always be exposed eventually, to cyberspace and everything within cyberspace. Hinduja writes that teachers can prevent bullying and cyberbullying by taking the time to discuss this in their classrooms. Also, the teachers can have clear rules about Regarding the use of computers and others devices that are associated with the web. The article says that to have and maintain a respectful school culture that they must have Anti-Bullying Policies (Hinduja). In addition to having anti-bullying policies, schools can add strategic efforts to promote bonding among the students. Mobbing is classified as a real behavior with devastating effects on everyone no matter the race or culture. Not many people are familiar with mobbing in today’s time, but it actually is a big deal in our society. Mobbing consists of: “Ganging up on someone using tactics of rumor, innuendo, discrediting, isolating, intimidating, and above all, making it look as if the targeted person were on the guilty party…” (Elliott). This is shown in the text how mobbing can be the worst form of bullying yet. In most cases, violence can be prevented by taking action before it erupts. In this quote: “awareness is so important and why paying attention to what is happening…is the key to prevention” (Elliott). Shows there are ways to prevention. For example: part of the problem is parenting. Children follow and grow upon examples parents set for them. In the end, if people don’t change the way they act towards one another then we will all be on an unpleasant
