School Bullying Is Not Improved And The Issue Essay

As the years stroll by, it is reported by many sources that school bullying definitely has not improved and the issue still has not been resolved within schools. In the educational system, there have been a variety of statistics, all of which the ones that I will mention are brought forth in the current year of 2015. According to the website called, Nobullying.com, this website obtained data from parents, teachers, activists and community members that show how bullying is so common in schools. Based upon the website and a source named PACER, nearly 1 in 3 students report being bullied during their school year. With this being said, 6% of high school students in the United States report being bullied in the past year and 14.8% of high school students reported being bullied online (“The Complicated Web of Teen Lives – 2015 Bullying Report” 6). While most of those who were bullied in high school reported this occurrence, this left about 64% of children who were bullied to remain silent towards their issues. With these statistics mentioned above, this only proves that bullying has affected many students’ lives and some are too scared to speak up about their situation. Another statistic that I came across on the website, Nobullying.com, found that in the United States, “3.1% of high school students were injured in a physical fight, 8.1% were involved in a physical fight on school property, and 7.1% of students did not go to school because they felt unsafe at school or on their…
