As for my two previous years at JJC I have funded my education with the help of the fafsa and my job. I have learned the value of saving by having to pay for some of my classes which can total over $1000 some semesters and while paying for the things I mentioned earlier money gets tight around my household. I have also learned to be more responsible with my money because I want to make sure I stay on track in terms of graduating on time from JJC and transferring this fall to a university. I am currently applying for scholarships because I simply cannot afford the cost of attendance for the schools I have been accepted to. I will also be paying for classes in the summer at JJC so I can receive my associate degree this summer. As you can see I am a hard worker and I try to be proactive in finding ways to fund my education so I can continue my studies and become a larger contributing citizen for society.
