As explained by Schneier, he believes that the solution to racial profiling is behavior profiling instead and that not only can TSA become trained users to distinguish suspicious behavior, but also police officers as well (Schneier). Behavior techniques would be so crucial when it came down to accurately tracking down criminals and suspects of crimes. This way, behavior has been known to be one of the most reliable resources to track down suspects and criminals which would not only decrease the amount of African Americans and Muslims searched for no particular reason, but increase the amount of crimes stopped due to this process. Throughout the years, racial profiling has caused many Americans to create stereotypes for each other and to create such a divide between the races that have caused issues between each other. The solution to this issue would be education and to teach young children from the very early years of their lives. Therefore, by doing so, these children could grow up to learn for themselves that each individual, no matter what color they are, are exactly the same. When you put a caucasian, African American, and a Muslim side by side, the only difference is their color or religion, but they all have eyes, they all have feelings, and they all have a heart. A heart that stands for the same exact thing: equality. In doing so, it is America’s chance to take a stand and educate the close-minded and weak individuals that cannot seem to understand just for themselves.
