This company was created in 1836 by the brother Schneider. It’s in 1999 that Schneider becomes Schneider Electric. Today the CEO of this company is Jean-Pascal Tricoire.
Schneider Electric is an international and European industrial company. It propose some electric management products, electrical distribution, and automation. The social headquarters is in Rueil-Malmaison in France. This company is in the index of CAC 40, and is include in the NYSE Euronext. The turnover of Schneider Electric is 24 939 millions of euros in 2014(http://www2.schneider-electric.com/documents/financial-results/fr/local/2014-full-year-results/20150219-release-fy-14-fr.pdf), one of the best turnover. It have use this strategy at its beginning. The first most enterprise who was redeem by Schneider was Télémecanique in 1988. This point is important, because with this Schneider Electric had can have touch new market and begin to work in a new field. With this politics it have make some profits and create an influence around the world.

Why for Schneider Electric this strategy is important?

Schneider Electric is a very big company in Europe. With this she have an influence. So it need to keep this influence around the world. It’s for this reason that it is a company where the R&D is very important. Moreover this enterprise work on a lot of market, so it need to work with a lot of other company around the world.
Indeed it work with a lot of enterprise, because it can’t to work alone for some product. Furthermore that politics allow to Schneider Electric to insist on the principal market.
So for Schneider Electric work with some enterprise permit to her to stay concentrate on the principal market who is important and who give some profit to Schneider. It’s for that Schneider Electric is include in NYSE Euronext. The NYSE Euronext offer the possibility to work with a lot of great enterprise in Europe.
