After two attempts to attend a PWI in the Deep South and Midwestern region in a God’s own country and received inhumane treatment. I decided to try a HBCU in the Deep South due to affordability. I instructed my childhood friend to sell my properties and transferred the money to me in US in order to pay for my tuition, feeding and books. Having received the money, I packed all my belongings and bought a plane ticket from up north to Deep South. Before my departure, some of friends in the north convince me not to go back to the Deep South but I have already made up my mind to pursue my masters. Arriving again in the Deep South, I got a place in a depressed environment due to its proximity to my institution. The next day, as I perambulated

According to Evans, Forney, Guido, Patton and Renn (2010) “Transitions provide opportunities for growth and development, but a positive outcome for the individual cannot be assumed” (p.213). The expertise would encourage Erick to focus on his health because his wealth is his wealth and too much of thinking could cause hypertension and not suitable for his well-being. The expertise would provide social support through the institution and his friends. The expertise would assure Erick to be hopeful that all is going to be well because winners never quit. The expertise might strategize to boost Erick morale by exploring some other medical school out of country in order to actualize his dream, and when he is through with studies, he can come back and practice in his country if he desire. To help Marie, the expert need “to understand the meaning that a transition has for particular individual requires considering the type, context and impact of the transition” as cited by Evans, Forney, Guido, Patton & Renn (2010 p.215). The expert can psychoanalyzed Marie and sympathize with her for the loss of her marriage. The expert could use the same approach to further help Marie in being steadfast to her education which will pave way for her in the labor market. In addition, it will be the key to unravel her financial and time constraints. The career counseling, counseling, student support services, residence life and housing, student union, financial aid, international student affairs, academic adviser, admission and so forth should be aware of this theory because all these functional area are gyre in being sensitive to student’s need. Comprehending this theory will further enhance their knowledge on how to better serve the students in
