If you are from the UK or if you were there sometime between 1997 and 2001 then you will not have escaped the phenomenon that was the Teletubbies! Like Marmite you either loved them or hated them. The theme tune infiltrated adult brains and could be heard being whistled along most supermarket shopping aisles at any given point during the week! However there was one catchphrase that resonated with me at the time and that was ‘again, again!’ At that time I was working with under 3s and was becoming more and more interested in the psychology behind ‘again, again’. Why did children repeat the same thing over and over! Why didn’t they get bored of it, I sure did! Was it a sign that there was something wrong with them?
