It means providing products and services from other services from other sources if appropriate. Finding a solution new generation customers reiterate might not be possible if they are limited to only one supplier’s goods. Paradoxically though these same customers want to see one face to face speak. The goods are provided by schefenacker of car wing mirrors, this company has been improving its mirrors for more than ten years. It can satisfy the most demanding customers. Services provided by this company for example its plant in the south England it delivers a possible 420 permutations of mirror daily to jaguar’ s assembly line in the midlands to match each car that comes down the assembly …show more content…
In firms that take this route, improvement of every aspects of every aspect of design, manufacture, distribution, delivery and services is by definition strategic. Better product quality or a day sliced off delivery lead time is a strategic, not tactical, move. That means improvement is a part of day job for every individual, which also means 100 percent participation with no choice.

Operations management is defined as management activities that are concerned with transforming and converting resources into goods and services and distributing them to the customers. The activities are carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible to maximise the profit of an organisation.
The operations manager will be responsible in schefenacker for data entry, accounts payable, payroll, grant report entry, managing the organizations HR, helping and creating organizational and program budgets in collaborations with the ED and program direct and other tasks.
Working with management team, the position also contributes to the development and usage of organizational policies and practices. The manger position will also interact with company’s management directions.
