Every culture has its own way of life. Travelling helps one to understand our differences and allows us to be more aware of our world. Another reason travelling is important is because it allows us to understand those ways of life and to learn more historically about the different peoples of the world. With this knowledge we begin to appreciate our own culture and way of life while viewing the vast expanse that is our earth and the thousands of years of history and development that come along with it. Travelling also allows us to help the people we meet along the way. All it takes is a bottle of water to make someone’s day, or a bag of chips to make someone smile. Maybe if we as people stopped along our journeys to tip the waiter extra, or complement the musician. If we travel around the world, or maybe just a state across, think how many lives we can make a difference in, no matter the size of that
