Scheduling Boat Covers

Improved Essays
No one wants to spend hours cleaning and prepping a boat to be able to go fishing. Ideally we would like to be able to throw the gear in the boat and take off. This can be accomplished if we had the forethought to purchase and use a boat cover to prevent the dirt, debris and even insect & animal nests from becoming a part of our boat's interior over the winter months. Any type of maintenance takes away from the fun we want to have on our boat. So what types of covers are there for the boat?

When considering what cover to purchase, you should take into account the size of the boat, the material used to make the cover and the fittings that are used to attach the cover.

Now if you want the very best for your boat and the cost is of no concern to you, you should definitely purchase the cover that was made by the boat's manufacturer. This custom made cover was designed for every aspect of your boat's dimensions. It is made specifically for the model and make of the boat. This of course means that it will provide the best possible fitting, but you might have to wait for this specially designed cover to be made at the factory by the manufacturer.

In that case we would like to consider a universal cover that is ready made and available for purchase. This cover is best for those of us on a budget- it offers us a low cost solution that provides cheap maintenance, protection and safety to our prized possession, our boat. In addition, universal covers also come as trailerable covers which provide an important barrier of protection when the boat is being transported from home to the river. The main disadvantage of the universal cover is that it may not fit our boat as snugly as we might

Taking your boat on the water during the summer gives you a carefree outlet for relaxation and enjoying the great outdoors, but, over time, the bottom of every boat begins to accumulate algae as it sits in the water. This accumulation mars the aesthetic appeal of your boat and can lead to other issues. Understanding how to clean a boat properly is must for any boat owner and it should not be avoided until the problem is so severe that nothing short of a jackhammer will penetrate the grime. Boat bottom cleaning and boat hull cleaning often seem daunting, but if they are done on a regular basis, perhaps once or twice a season, depending on the frequency in which the boat is in the water, you can avoid the worst of the unsightly gunk for the…

(Intro) Peter Singer’s “Famine, Affluence, and Morality” and Garrett Hardin’s “Lifeboat ethics” are contradictory philosophical works that examine whether scarce resources should be shared with the poor. Singer’s argument is that “suffering and death from lack of food, shelter and medical care are bad" (Singer, 1972); therefore all people become morally obligated to help the poor. While Hardin argues that ethics of a Lifeboat should be followed because there is a finite amount of resources available at our disposal (Hardin, 1974, pp.566). Both authors take extreme positions by providing opposing arguments on whether we should be involved in helping the famine or not. This essay will analyze the rational of both authors’ while trying…

It would be a hard decision to make but having two kids I would want them to have a father. I would choose to save the father of two because he is a single father. What if his wife has died, then his kids would have no parents. Another reason is since he is grown, but not too old, he has a better survival rate than the others that are left.…

The first answer is allowing everyone in the water on the boat but at the risk of their safety. The second option is adding only ten more people to the boat and ensuring everyone’s safety. Although, everyone is safe, there would be a problem with the process of selecting ten more people to allow on the boat. For example, should the selection be based on the first to come or perhaps the neediest. Last but not least, the last solution is to not add anyone else on the boat and not sacrifice their safety, besides from others on the boat.…
