In a moment throughout the slow motion sequence, shallow space composition takes place between Deadshot and his young daughter. Although his daughter was not physically present at the scene it was a figment of his imagination. As Deadshot was about to take a shot at a bomb that would destroy Enchantress’s machine, his daughter appears to try and stop him from taking any action that he might regret. Amid identical shallow composition shots, blurred out background, and eye line matches Deadshot has an internal conflict with himself and the image of his daughter who is telling him to “not do it”. Shallow space composition in this scene serves the purpose to reveal the struggle within Deadshot as he tries to be a good guy for the sake of his daughter.
