Loki is the Norse god of trickery. He never had any intention to help anyone, but himself. This put Loki into many situations where he decided to help the giants instead of helping the other gods. However, Loki would be caught up by his own ambitions. He often made a promise to the giants that went against the gods, but then he had to make another new promise to the other gods that went against the giants. In one instance Loki had to captured the goddess Idun and gave her to the giant Thiazi. If Loki refused Thiazi would kill Loki with a long and painful death. When the other gods heard about Idun being captured they made Loki go and rescue her. Loki used his shapeshifting powers and turned into a falcon that would rescued Idun. While Loki was flying away with Idun the shapeshifting giant Thiazi began to chase them as an eagle. The furious giant chased them all the way up to the gates of Asgard where all the other gods were. When the gods saw Thiazi they set him on fire and killed him on the spot. Loki became a hero for rescuing Idun even though he was the very one that put her into danger in the first place.

She was upset with Medusa and turned her into a hideous monster. The Athens princess Agraulos disobeyed Athena and opened a box that contained the hidden infant Erikhthonios. This made Athena angry so she put a curse upon Agraulos making her have severe jealousy. When Agraulos’ jealousy took over in front of Hermes; Hermes turned Agraulos into stone. Athena had a beautiful white crow with her, but the crow told Agraulos about the baby Erikhthonios in the box. Athena became furious with the crow and turned its lovely white feathers into hideous black feathers. A man named Ilos became was blinded by Athena when he gazed upon her shrine.
