The familiar gravitational force on Venus felt surreal, as it was almost identical to the feeling of being on Earth. Though there was a pungent stench coming at me from numerous directions, wandering with my two crewmates, we found the origin of the foul smell, coming from a crater that was encircling what looked like an egg. We cautiously moved back as the fumes overwhelmed the surrounding aroma. Putting on our metallic, lightweight gas masks and marching towards the crater. Everyone was wary of the dangers of what could lay inside that egg, so quiet. Enough to hear the masks cycling and venting one step after another. Deep inside the dense, heavy, green haze, we were all prepared for what was to come. A shadow appears in the sky. Screams …show more content…
Left and right cleared; now all that's left is too. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh crap. The same black shadow emerges from the entry point, probably on guard duty, I ponder. I start to hear chortles coming from their direction, but.they don’t sound.normal. As the maniacal laughter started to amplify, I instinctively withdrew from the premises. It soon became clear that the source of the laughter was not my crewmate, but something more sinister. The cult had used my colleagues as vessels for their unholy experiments. A shiver ran down my spine as I stumbled upon a chamber of ancient artefacts covered in otherworldly symbols. Among them lay my crewmates, their physiques deformed in a contorted and twisted way. Terror filled my chest as I processed what was in front of me. In the midst of all this chaos, a glimmer of hope appeared. In the corner, tucked away by heavy sheets. With a combination of fear and astonishment, I approached the creature, offering it my hand in a silent gesture of peace and trust. To my surprise, it acknowledged me as its companion. With this creature in aid I felt a surge of strength coursing through my veins. But as I ventured further into the eye of the hideout, I encountered the cult leader. A figure cloaked in darkness, his eyes gleaming with malice. With a wave of his hand, he summoned forth a monstrosity-like entity.a sacred beast resurrected from the ruins of mythology.the Wendigo. A half beast creature appearing in the legends of Indian history is said to stalk, and eat humans, in rare cases, causing them to turn into cannibals. With every fibre and muscle in my body, I knew I had to stop it. Wishing upon the relic’s power and the strength of my companion, I faced the creature head on, engaging in a fierce duel that shook the very foundations of the hideout. Despite the odds being in the leader’s favour, I refused to back down, being driven by a sense of duty and pride, to not only protect my friends, but
