This standard necessitates a positive relationship between the teacher and students. When a healthy and appropriate relationship is formed between the teacher and students, the students are more likely to achieve optimal success. This assignment was created with students in mind. It is evident this standard was met as the Online Scavenger Hunt is targeted toward students, including their interests and abilities. Standard 4b, Using Developmentally Effective Approaches, was met through this assignment. This assignment included a wide range of engaging, age appropriate activities. Second graders will greatly benefit from participating in this project. One way this standard is met is through providing opportunities for students to construct various items such as a water cycle bracelet and final project.
