(Romantic myth) Myth #1 appeared through out the movie. Lovers are destined to be together and nothing would separate them. Movies typically manifest this idea by creating two people who are born to be with each other. They will face lots of obstacles when they pursue their happiness, but nothing can separate them and fate will bring them together at the end.…
Discussed the relations between sound and image in horror films. • “Music in a horror film, …participates crucially in the creation of the film’s meaning, and so close attention to the score with both the eye and the ear will generate readings of the film that do not emerge when considering only the visual and cinematographic.” (Lerner, 2010) • “I argued …that films could not be adequately understood without consideration of the relations between sound and images. ”(Johnson, 1989) • “…Although we may not be allowed to witness the penetration of the knife itself, we can hear it. This rupture of illusion comes from the music itself. ”…

Let me get started by saying that music is a wonderful thing. Music opens many windows to people and make you accomplish tasks that you thought you couldn’t do. Music comes in many variations from being sad, happy, or angry. Also music has been with humans for as long as I can remember. In 700 B.C vocals were added to the music they had and that took a different road and developed music much more than what they knew.…
Sexy witches, exotic femme fatals, ghosts and goblins of all shapes will be shaking it up at the North Fork Grange Hall on the spookiest night of the year when Bad Billy Walls and the Trinity Blues Shakers take the stage for one of the most awesome Halloween dance parties in the county. The grange hall will be transformed into a spooky fun house for this special celebration. The band will be playing some funky blues for all of us to dance well into the witching hour. I was sure after hearing this band rehearse that the Bad in Billy Walls name was due to the fact that he can burn up his guitar until you can see the smoke rising but he insists that this moniker is derived from his terrible behavior as a younger man.…
1980s Music Music has been affected by political decisions and social situations for as long as it is been around. It is written about the experiences of the artist or even their beliefs. Different genres of music tend to focus on different aspects, and these aspects reflect the artist on a personal level, whether it be physical or mental aspects. It is why music has evolved over the years: people change, situations change, so music changes. These intertwine together to form something that can be enjoyed by many, or even just felt by the people who have had related incidents.…

The Film Vertig¬o and Mulholland Drive are very interesting films. Both of these films have expression of surrealism. As I have grown up through my childhood and pre-teen years, the different elements of pop-culture (books, TV, movies, music, etc.) have had an impact on me. I have never been the type to be able to consistently watch movies, because no matter how interesting, I always end up falling asleep somehow. However, one of my favorite genres is dramas with suspense. Something about mystery-based movies makes them so compelling and riveting; they always leave you guessing. Above all, horrors are my absolute favorite, but I can never watch them, due to my anxiety and extreme paranoia.…
