Have you ever loved something a lot? Well duh, a bunch of people if not the whole world loves something (unless you’re creepy). In the story Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst and the story Necklace by Guy de Maupassant the main characters love their item. For Scarlet Ibis the main character (who doesn’t have a name) loves his brother and as for Necklace Mme. Loisel loves the necklace that she barrows from her friend. Here are some ways the stories are the same but different. One way the two stories are the same is that in both stories the main characters have a valuable procession. Weather it’s the necklace (Guy de Maupassant page 3) from Necklace or if it’s Doodle (James Hurst page 3) from Scarlet Ibis both characters have something they love.
