An internship is supposed to provide hands on learning experience; this is exactly what Scarf’s nursery and Landscaping provided for me. It provided a realistic view of what goes on in the horticulture industry and I got to meet very important people that have influence my life greatly while working at Scarfs. I worked in various departments in order to get a complete grasp of the nursery. I worked in the Container department, Potting department, Propagation department, and in the Field. In the containers department I retrieved orders for customers and pruned and trimmed plants. The potting department consisted of depotting plants and replanting them.
