Scale Model Parachutes

A scale model parachute will be designed and constructed to fall safely for the attached LEGO man to survive the parachute will provide enough air resistance to counteract gravity. One reason there is science in this problem is if the parachute goes to fast and kills the LEGO man to make the parachute go slower the parachute would have to be improved. Also, if parachute would be improved based on things such as how to make the air resistance greater making the parachute slower. Another, things is if you do not have a good time you could find the mass and use it to slow the parachute down by maybe using something with less mass than a paper-clip for the harness.

A parachute is a device usually made of fabric most of the fabrics parachutes are made of is silk and nylon. Another, thing is there are also a many different types of parachutes designed for many different specific applications. Also, parachutes are used for both people and cargo to deliver things to areas which can only be reached by aircraft. In addition a parachute works by slowing down a falling object, sometimes the object is a human skydiving. Additionally using many different vocabulary words such as gravity, scientists can explain how a parachute works.

Terminal velocity is the constant speed of a falling object. One reason they have a low terminal velocity is they are built to be safe for the thing they are caring.
