The use of E-Commerce has increased in previous years due to faster and cheaper ways, to purchase goods and services online. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, E-Commerce is “activities that communicate with the buying and selling of goods and services over the Internet.” This innovation has changed the way businesses reach customers without leaving their houses. Now, it’s much easier to order a book online through Amazon rather than purchase in a local bookstore. Because it requires taking the time to drive all the way to the store and eventually the cost is higher, rather than save money and time online. On the contrary, we substitute with Amazon’s Prime membership that provides delivery of goods within two days shipping and half …show more content…
Several companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discovery were adapting the protocol of “Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard that has increased the control of cardholder’s data to reduce credit card fraud via the Internet.”5 Within the five years, mobile commerce evolved allowing E-Commerce business to take advantage of M-Commerce applications to reach customers anywhere at any time.5 These request features have come in handy to company’s advertisement through social media features.
