Informative Essay On 9/11 Heroes

September 11, 2001, was a day that started off as usual and turned into a completely different scenario. It is remembered as a day that devastated our entire nation. To honor this particular day the many people of New York City remember the heroes that contributed their life to save others. Despite the controversy caused by a number of disasters that occurred on the alluring, mellow morning, the heroes did their task. The events that occurred on September 11, 2001, were solved heroes putting forth their best effort during this overwhelming time in America. Finding survivors in the wreckage of the World Trade Center was a daunting task (Stephen Atkins 602). Without the enormous aid from the hundreds of heroes; survivors wouldn 't be where they are today. These courageous heroes would likely be known as the man 's best friend. The heroes are the K-9 rescue dogs. K-9 rescue dogs came with their handlers from all around the world and searched frantically on the night of September 11. At Ground Zero, the dogs worked every day to help in search and rescue with their handlers (McLaughlin, Christine). They played the greatest role in the search for survivors. Without the three hundred canine dogs that traveled from other parts of the country to New York City that day, the outcome of the 9/11 attack would be extremely contrasting. These canines used their exceptional skills and gave tremendous comfort to numerous men and women that were in some way involved with 9/11. The men and women like to show their attention to these heroes for their heroic acts. These dogs will always be an important role in our country 's search and rescue efforts. We all as American 's should continue to contribute in some way to keep this program
