My Response to Save a Life, Kill a Tree

Title of Text: Save a Life, Kill a Tree
Sallie’s main idea is that everyone should be more caring about the environment. I believe what Sallie says about how people should care more about the environment and I believe this too, because I know that if people do not stop polluting and ruining the environment, then it will make it harder for people to survive because there will be a lot less wildlife and resources for everyone to survive off of. This affects not only affects other people, but me as well because if the environment is destroyed then it will make even harder for my family, friends and even future generations to survive because there will hardly any food or resources …show more content…
For example, when I was younger, me and my brother Zach would fight because one of us had annoyed each other or we would be fighting over a toy. My two younger brothers Cameron and Parker also fight a lot because sometimes one of them had annoyed the other, so they would start fighting, or one of them would hit the other one because he wanted to get revenge for something that had happened previously like a fight, it also happens when they are playing together and one of them gets too rough, or does something that the other one does not like so they start fighting. I have also seen other people fight because someone did not like what the other person believed in, or someone was fighting to protect a tree or forest. But I have also seen people learn from their mistakes and apologize, I’ve seen my brothers help each other when one of them needs help, I remember seeing people helping strangers by giving away food, clothes, and money to people they do not know, I know people who would go into a burning building to save someone inside that they don't even know because they don't care about the risk, they care about helping someone in need. People don't fight all the time, many people are kind and caring, many people avoid fights because they want to resolve it peacefully. This relates to the text because it shows how often people fight and why they fight sometimes. But this also shows that people can be friends
