In the story of “Lord of the flies”, a group of children who get abroad for keeping them from the wars got stranded on the island with no people. At first, they work together and try their best to bring the civilization to the island. But in the end, they lose themselves and finally become totally savages. For all these who read the book, it is worth thinking why this kind of things happen and what leads them to behave savage. From my perspective, firstly, absence of consequences result in savage behaviors. At the beginning of the novella, writer shows that the island has no people living on it.
