If we had Saturday school we could get a better education in life and become smarter.
Saturday school would benefit students but I think we should be allowed to choose our classes. We could choose classes that we need help with like math, science, history, literature, health, and more. We could also choose to focus on classes that aren’t usually offered in school Monday through Friday like music, art, public speaking, cooking class, sewing class, gardening class, coding and programming class or foreign languages and sign language. We could be given the freedom to choose what we wanted to spend our Saturday school

School also gives children from abusive and neglectful families a chance to go somewhere that they feel safe, are offered breakfast and lunch and given chances to talk to people that can help them. If we had school on Saturday that would be one more day a week that children from homes like that would have food and not have to go hungry.

This way students will be better prepared for what college will be like (Cavazos). In college, you do not have a set every day schedule. Classes are different, for the most part, every day and having the opportunity for this in high school would make for a better transition into college. Since the classes alternate every other day, it allows students to get a chance to relax and not have the same set routine of classes everyday(Cavazos). The government should make school be all year round so that kids can get a better education and so that children can learn more. Kids would learn more if school is all year round because they will be in school longer, and usually when children get out of school for summer break they start to forget the things that they learned from the previous year. Kids will learn more if school is all year because they won’t have breaks other than the weekends. This is good because then kids will remember what they have learned the previous week. To conclude my argument of why school should not be all year round.…

After that, however, glaring flaws question a want for such a "luxury." For all of the ensuing reasons, I am strongly against any modification to the existing time system. Firstly, half an hour added to the school day consumed work and leisure time. Furthermore, costs for the school would be increased and overall enjoyment of students and staff would drastically decrease. Next, various sporting schedules inside and out of school would be disrupted.…
