One of our beloved counselors retried at the end of the last school year and will not be replaced due to reduction in state funding. Parents are even upset and will address the school board next Thursday at the meeting.
Mr. hanks has retired and left the school with only one counselor. The superintendent Margaret Jeffries has decided that she will not hire a replacement. This lack in counselors is giving Judy Carlton some trouble. Having 975 kids in the middle school and only one counselor is leaving some kids problems unsolved.
But not having the second counselor is putting a new responsibility on the on the 8th grade students. They have started a new mentoring program to help the 6th grade students who are at
