Satire, is a genre that allows many to laugh while allowing other to become offended. Satire is the genre of literature which uses comical approaches to expose various social, political or religious issues. However, satire without the use of characters would simply be nonsense. Characters are the individual components of a piece of literature that act as the author’s helpers in conveying his or her satirized work to the public. And most of the time, satire goes hand in hand with comedy and usually ends with the triumph of the protagonist.
