Satire Essay On Abortion

Abortion is one of the biggest issues that America has had the pleasure to deal with throughout the past couple of years. Most Americans have fought for or against abortion (pro-life or not pro-life) in many different situations. My own belief would be pro choice not only because every person who is created should have a chance in the world but it is wrong to kill someone unless you have a really good reason.
At some points I have had my doubts about being pro choice because in some situations abortion could be your only decision. Then I look at it like, yeah you could kill this innocent little human inside of you or you could decide to give it up. Reason I am so biased about this subject is because I have seen images and have the privilege of learning how doctors remove a fetus from the mother's body. It’s sad and everytime I think of a little innocent baby being killed just makes me feel uncomfortable and angry that people could do this. Even though it is sad I realize that it is the women’s right to choose to do this surgical procedure on her body.

Other bills similar to prohibiting abortion at 21 weeks have been created but were killed by the house and never actually occurred. This peaked my interest quite a bit because babies can feel pain way before the 21 week period.
In the 1960s crisis pregnancy centers were created and they basically ran by anti abortion women. Centers created what we like to call a safe haven for women that either were not sure if they were pregnant or they were deciding on having an abortion or not. Within the centers women would go in and anti abortion women would persuade them not to get an abortion and would even hand out pregnancy tests. This is just amazing in my eyes that a movement would be so strongly against something that they would go as far as creating centers for their

Abortion has been a very controversial issue for a very long time, and people have very different opinions about this issue, and the artist has expressed their opinion on this issue from the use of music, and art. For example, a song by Tim Mcgraw and Bright Eyes shows how abortion affects everyone involved after it happens. A piece of artwork by Frida Kahlo shows the perspective of women after having an abortion. In all of the artwork in music the people involved always regret having the abortion, and the people that are pro-choice do not understand how the people feel after having an abortion because they have not experienced it themselves. This is a civil rights issue because people are either pro life or pro choice, and both sides make…

My stance however is Pro-Life or Anti-Abortion, but I look at circumstances individually, and I believe abortion is permissible in certain situations. I believe that abortions are acceptable if the life of the mother or the baby, is at risk. In this situation, either the mother or the fetus could die. The suggestion of abortion is given by the professional opinion of a doctor, but ultimately the mother has the final decision. The mother choses to either live and let her baby die or die and let her baby live.…

Abortion has been a great topic of debate for many years, both in terms of law/rights and in morality/religion. The constant debate has split people into two sides: Pro-Choice and Pro-Life. Those who are Pro-Choice believe that women have a right to decide the fate of their body, health, and life. They personally may not get an abortion, but they feel that it is still the right of the mother to choose. Abortion prevents unsafe pregnancies, protects women 's right to choose, liberates women from patriarchal control over women 's sexual and reproductive lives, and allows the mother to choose whether, when, and how often to have a child.…

One reason abortion is a social issue is because people don’t know whether it should be either illegalized or legalized everywhere. Tom Anderson says,” if abortions become illegalized then it will have a significant impact on women and would cause society to become like the third world. ”(Anderson,3) Which he describes as a place where the population suffers from poverty, malnutrition, treatable disease, poor health care, unemployment and lastly a place where women feel little empowerment concerning their reproductive lives. There are few things in this world that will strike more fear into the heart of a woman—or a man, for that matter—than an unplanned pregnancy. Now the woman faces a choice: does she carry the fetus to term, or does she terminate the pregnancy? There are countless reasons for both options, such as the mother’s health, the health of the fetus, religious views, and how the mother was brought up. There are some instances in which a mother could feel that she could not rely on her family for support, such as cases of rape and incest.
