Satire: A Dysfunctional Society

“the only ones who can take your country back from big business are "you" the people.” I'd like to think that having someone like her as President would change the country, but I am afraid the economy is so dysfunctional and she may be able to change that. We need change from the middle up and down. There should be investments on things that will help the majority of this country create opportunity. One good point Colbert says We’re an aspirational society we all dream to get into the 1% but when we finally get to that point we fret about having a taxes cut.

The political broadcasting in this country is reproducing a one-sided version of American politics, and it is a good implication of how citizens cultivate to comprehend the organization of the society as a whole.
Satire has played a big part in influencing how average American citizens apprehended their social status in relation to politics. Satire has made politics more accessible for me. It has helped me to be more informative and helped to form more educated opinions and discuss those interpretations with others. I think the benefit of satirical news is for the most part essential today. Many of these serious news foundations are controlled by pressures to distribute particular information tailored to a viewer’s interests without giving them insight about the other side. Due to these pressures, many news outlets portray politics intensely, and frequently will have the broadcaster mention to less exhilarating but important political news. What I personally like most about satire in politics is that it’s almost like a wakeup call in comedy. They point out things that we the viewers may have bypassed. Satires also do a great job at highlighting certain instances that take place with politics that we may have not
