Exercise does not necessarily prevent cancer but it helps to lower the risk of cancer by preventing obesity, increasing cardiovascular health, reducing inflammation and hormone levels, and improving insulin resistance and immune system function. It is recommended for adults to have at least 150 minutes per week of moderate to vigorous physical activity to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Patients that might require an orthosis are those who need support, alignment, prevention, or correction in a body part such as an ankle or spine. This could be done via a brace or a similar device. Sarcopenia is the loss of muscle mass and strength as a person ages. Sarcopenia affects a person’s balance, gait, and overall ability to perform day-to-day tasks.“Constraint-induced”
