Sarah’s Key, the title was interesting and that’s why I pick the book. This title sounded like an interesting book because this title told me that there might be an important key to escape Sarah and her beloven family. The author who wrote the book Sarah’s Key was Tatiana de Rosnay. Overall, I think this book was great and entertaining because when the story reached the climax point, the whole story was filled with excitement and surprises. The purpose of this report is to attract more people to read this book and to let people know what happened in the history of France.

The first plot talked about a girl called Sarah, who lived in Paris until July 16th 1942, the French police stormed into her house and took her whole family away. But Sarah bring her brother, Michel, into a secret room under the stair case. Therefore his brother will not get hurt, but she did not think of the consequences of this decision. Her brother might die of starvation, dehydration, or loneliness. Next they were all brought into a mysterious enclosed stadium, where it's all filled with people, then Sarah notice that it's filled with innocent jews. Then with in days, they were eventually sent to Drancy, a refugee camp where guiltless children were separated from their loving parents. After the villainous enemy brought them to Auschwitz, which is another concentration camp for jew. Sarah, now on her own, is still tormented by thoughts of her brother locked in the secret closet at home, and tries to escape with Rachel, another Jewish girl at the camp. They are caught, but the officer that catches them is a man that Sarah knows her. She begs him to let them go to rescue her brother. He unwilling helps them escape and even gives the two girls money to spend and buy food with. They searched for shelters and they eventually finds an elderly couple who lives inside a fancy mansion. They called themself Nazi doctors, but they were focused to be doctors. Somehow The Nazis found Sarah and Rachel, but Rachel was very sick
