The dictionary defines a hero as; “A man or woman with distinguished ability, admired for their brave deeds and noble qualities.” But, a hero doesn’t have to have a cape, or a superpower. a hero can be anyone; the person who gives you compliments everyday, or the teacher who pushes you to do your best, even the friend who puts a smile on your face after a rough day. My hero is Sarah Siscoe, the extraordinary ordinary girl. She proves that a hero can emerge from a high school, and make a huge impact on our lives. Sarah doesn’t judge my decisions, which is a big reason why she’s my hero. When I told my friends I’d like to dye my hair firetruck red, they instantly shot my idea down, telling me it was stupid,
