Being that I have four daughters, the issue of sexual drama and the bullying of girls is an issue that hits close to home. In the article, “How You Bully a Girl”, the author Sarah Miller aims to understand the real reasons adolescent girls engage in sexual rumor spreading, slut-shaming, and homophobic labeling. By interviewing 54 class and racially diverse young women, Miller explores the different perspectives and meanings behind this form of bullying and how it is useful in their lives.
