A flight attendant, known as Sarah Low’s legacy lives on with Karyn’s wings. In the article “On the Wings of memory¨ By Jon Ramirez, the story of Karyn’s wings is shared. These particular wings have been through many important events. They carry on Sarah’s legacy. Sarah Low was a flight attendant for the American Airlines flight 11 on September 11, 2001. A friend of Sarah’s, Karyn Ramsey, was at the memorial service and to display her respect, gave her flight attendant wings to Mike Low, Sarah’s father. Mike felt it was his responsibility to do positive things with the wings in memory of Sarah. Thus, he sent them out to the pentagon and they sent them to Sgt. Mark Baker.
