I first learned about Sarah Lawrence while researching liberal arts colleges in New York. I was not able to visit while I was in the area due to lack of time, but I was able to meet with an admissions director at my school. I was able to really understand what Sarah Lawrence is about. I fell in love with the school then, and regretted that I hadn’t taken a closer look at it. The admissions director was very helpful with this.
I will admit, at first I was skeptical about the open curriculum and lack of defined majors and minors. But after some consideration I realized that I should be open to this kind of experience. And the more I thought about it, the more I liked it.
