Sara Ann: Guidance Counselor

The file of Sara Ann came into the agency today after she was placed into the care of her grandmother and the grandmother was having difficulty dealing with her behavioral problems. They referred her file to this agency in order to seek guidance for proper placement for her. Sara Ann is an 11 year old girl who had been living the past 6 months with her grandmother after her mother passed away from a drug overdose and her father has been in prison for the last 8 years on drug charges. Sara Ann has spent most of her childhood living in a poverty stricken environment, the area she lived in with her mother was an area with drug and crimes problems so Sara Ann spent most of her time in the house and unsupervised most of the time.
