A saola is a animal that is critically endangered. It is considered to me the world’s most endangered large mammal. The saola was discovered in May of 1992 in a house of a hunters. A scientist has over at this hunters house ad noticed a animals head. The head was hanging from the wall and the scientist says “what is that”. That is how this new organism that they call saola was found. The scientific name is Pseudoryx nghetinhensis. They are a cousin with cattle but sola’s resemble an antelope to some scientist. The weight os this animal varies from 175 pounds to about 220 pounds. The average height of the saola is around 33 inches at the shoulder.
