The company applies a lens of human rights to all the CSR related objectives. The company has developed a risk profile for Human Rights. Some of the topics discussed were: fight against forced and child labor, freedom to associate, data privacy, health and safety and human rights risk when dealing with suppliers. These were roughly translated into the following CSR objectives in the area of ethics. The company developed a toolkit to enable the different affiliates working in different parts of the world to act on Sanofi’s global CSR objectives.
