Focus: Santonias and family will learn, practice and utilize problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Ms. Smalls (MHP), Santonias and Ms. Givens (MHS) debrief and incident with a peer at a community event and process alternatives ways to handle peer conflict.
Intervention: MHP, Santonias and MHS debrief that Santonias had a physical altercation with a peer at a community event. MHP, MHS and Santonias process the details that lead to the physical altercation with the peer. MHP receive clarification that the peer was Santonias friend that live in the community. MHP, Santonias and MHS discuss Santonias display of aggressive behaviors. MHP and Santonias complete a conflict worksheet.
