The climax of the book is when Santiago asks the desert, wind, and sun to turn him into wind, and if he does not fulfil that task tribesmen will kill him. Santiago is calm those three days that he is given but when the time comes Santiago is peaceful, he is not nervous. He is not worried that he has to turn himself into wind. On page 148 Santiago gets to it, he Santiago asks the desert to turn him into wind and the desert tells him that he can not do that. Sorrowfully, the desert tells the boy to ask the wind for help, calmly once again Santiago ask the wind for help. The wind tells him that he can't be turned to wind. Santiago is unrealistic and says “‘That's not true,’ the boy said,” (Page 151,Coelho). This quote illustrates that the boy is being unrealistic, when the wind tells him that he can not be turned into wind. The wind tells the boy to ask Heaven, Santiago asked to wind for help, and then the sun appears. Still peaceful Santiago asks the sun, the sun didn't want to talk about turning the boy into wind, the sun wanted to talk about love. The sun wanted to believe he was an expert in love. Santiago is very collective and smart during the climax, he goes stands and listen to what his heart has to say, and when his heart nothing the desert does. The desert asks the boy about love and he seems like he knows how to reply. On page 150 the sun ask “‘So is that what love is?’” (Page 150, Coelho). Santiago replies “‘Yes, that’s what love is…,” (Page 150, Coalho). He has a big reply for the desert, and he knows how to reply to the questions that he is being asked, that is how the quote supports me through my argument. The way the boy reacts that he is a smart, collective, and determined

The poem Beowulf makes a very clear distinction between the morally good characters, and the characters that are to be considered evil. It is nearly impossible to miss that the hero, Beowulf, is hailed as a hero and a king, and is often described by those around him as good and just. Oppositely, Grendel and his mother are the primarily evil figures. Grendel in particular is heavily shadowed as an evil figure, given his tendency to kill for sport. There is very little grey area, and both sides tend to highlight the good and evil qualities of the other.…
