Santa's Angels By Bearnaise En Scene

Have you ever been to the Gaslight Melodrama? If you have, you know how good their performances can be; but if not, you are missing out on a great show! The play “Santa’s Angels,” written and directed by Michael Prince, began with Father Time and his assistant, Bearnaise, talking about how they should speed up time to stop Santa from delivering all the presents on Christmas Eve/Christmas Morning. This is caused by the small feud between Father Time and Santa. As the story continues, Santa enlists in the help of the Tooth Fairy, The Easter Bunny, and Cupid, as well as his head elf, Bernard to help stop Father Time from speeding up time. The five work together to stop him and in the end, Father Time realizes that he should not be speeding up time, but instead should be spending time with his friends and have more of the Christmas spirit inside him. The play at the Gaslight Melodrama, entitled “The Gaslight Holiday Extravaganza/Santa’s Angels,” captured the essence of friendship during the busy holiday season through a well thought out storyline, as well as characters who were perfectly portrayed. I thoroughly enjoyed this production. It had a great plot and the actors in it were very funny. I would definitely recommend it to others. I think that everyone should see it, since we can all take a little something from it, especially the theme that was conveyed throughout it all. Though, if you do go to a show at the Gaslight Melodrama, be prepared to participate in it. This play had the audience take part in it by yelling, clapping, and making tons of noise, which made it all the more merrier. Overall, this was a great play, with awesome and believable characters and a smooth plot, that I would definitely recommend to
