It was Christmas Eve, I had just hung up my stocking by the fire place right were it would be ready for Santa to slip down the chimney. I knew Santa was coming because every night on Christmas Santa came and left me gifts to open the next day. Still, I was not just satisfied. Way down in my heart I was a little uncertain about Santa clause. When you have never seen that person with your very own eyes it is kinda hard to disagree on weather Santa is real or not. But every night on that same day Santa always brings me beautiful gifts. "Oh, he'll come," I said; I just know Santa clause will be here before morning, but somehow i just wish". The little voice said to me. The little voice told me to slip on some shoes and hold a flash light and I will find my way to Santa's house. As I looked down there were two cunning shoes laying on the heath. Away went I with the two cunning shoes, bright light, and higher and higher until I looked like a wee bitty star upon the sky. As I was on my way to Santa's house I was upon the beautiful land were I lived. I didn't know that little Christmas spirit and fairs were all around me and inside, even though I couldn't see them. I felt as if I wanted to laugh and sing and be glad for the time being. This reminded me of the sick boy who lived next door, as I said to myself that I would carry hi one of my prettiest picture books in the morning, So he could have something to smile and be happy about all day. I saw a path right in front of me, All straight and trim, leading up a hill to a big house with ever many windows in it. When I just had gone a bit closer I could see Santa clause threw one of the huge windows. Just as I made it to the steps before I had even had time to open the door, The door opened. There stood Santa clause although that didn't look like him he had slender legs and rolly polly stomach witch shoo every now and …show more content…
So I said alright at least i know your real and That I know I had a great time with you Santa. As Santa dropped off me I ran to my room and went to sleep and waited patiently for Santa to drop off my gifts. The next morning I woke up for Christmas and I saw all my gifts Santa had left for me. I enjoyed every thing Santa brought for me. I loved spending the time being with Santa and Mrs. clause. We ate cookies and milk while sitting around the chimney with warm fire glazing with orange and red flames. I loved seeing Santa's rain deer's and elves. The elves I met were so sweet and encouraging to me. People here in the north pole would probably never be seen in my town. Santa asked me what I would like for Christmas I whispered into his ear I would love the boots so I could come back and visit you and Mrs. clause sometime. Well Santa said it's getting late I guess it's time for me to bring you home in the sleigh. So Santa brought me home right when I got home I wen straight up to my room and went to sleep so I would have plenty of energy to open all my gifts from Santa in the

I still remember all the fun adventures Chase and I would have while sledding in the hills of my farm and in the town of Culbertson. One of the days Chase and I went sledding together we made the coolest snow fort I have ever seen out of sticks, snow, trees and we even had a flag. I also remember making cookies for Santa and seeing my family members dressed up as him. They would attempt to persuade us that the real Santa Claus was amongst us when in reality it was one of my uncles. I also remember all of the Christmas programs I used to have at church and school.…

This is the one night each year I will NEVER tell my mom I am too old for her to read me a story; that night is Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve is my absolute favorite night of the year! Not only do we attend Christmas Eve mass, we also celebrate with a longstanding family tradition of paella (spanish seafood and rice dish) for dinner and my mother reads “The Night Before Christmas”. My sister and I get into our PJ’s, leave the cookies for “Santa”, sprinkle the reindeer food on the lawn and jump into my bed to get snuggled under the cozy blankets. Even though we now know Santa is a nonexistent mythical character, I believe the butterflies in our tummies as she clicks on the flashlight and opens the book may never go away.…

Peacefulness sauntered throughout the house. I woke up thinking I would race down the stairs to discover my brightly lit, ten-foot cedar tree, with an array of presents and stockings; nonetheless, I took the short walk from my makeshift bed to the living room to find that tiny, tattered Christmas tree. Snow fell serenely, providing a charming backdrop for that little tree with the K-Mart gifts nuzzled up around it. I looked around at my blissful family; my grandfathers face, although weary from chemo, lit up with happiness. He called me to his lap, and as I snuggled up next to my grandpa, I felt content.…
