Santa Clara Personal Statement

I identify greatly with the vision at Santa Clara University. Ever since I was young, I have dreamt of changing the world for the better. I hoped one day I could save the world from itself. To be the superhero that would swipe away the conflict and pain that is ever present in today’s media. While the dreams of saving the innocent from super villains has faded, the backbone and underlying foundation has not dissolved. The desire to make change and impact the world for good will always be within me. At Santa Clara, I plan to pursue a major in biology, and double major or minor in psychology. With these two programs, along with SCU’s excellent pre-health advising, I can put my dream into action. As a graduate I plan to volunteer for the

On Wednesday, September 21st, the junior and senior class of my school went to Franklinton High School—where we were introduced to post-secondary institutions such as state universities and local community colleges. I admittedly already had a fair idea of what I planned on doing after school. My “carefully thought-out plan” was this: I would go to Northshore Technical Community College in the summer to get my CNA so that I can gain the patient-care experience necessary for my later plans for college. I would then attend LSU for four years and earn a bachelor’s in dietetics, and possibly minor in psychology. Afterward, I would attend a PA school somewhere within the US—possibly the one at LSU.…
